About Nexum Forge
Nexum Forge is an eCommerce engineering company. We build and run complete commerce systems — the storefront customers see, the services behind it, and the integrations that keep stock, price and order data honest.
Why we exist
Commerce projects usually fail in the seams. An agency builds the front end, a systems integrator owns the ERP link, a third party runs hosting, and when checkout drops at 9pm on Black Friday nobody owns the incident. We built Nexum Forge so one team owns all of it.
How we are set up
Every client gets a delivery pod with a named lead. The pod is senior-only and cross-functional, so architecture, implementation, QA and infrastructure decisions happen in the same room.
Senior by default
Everyone on a pod has shipped production commerce before. There is no junior padding billed at senior rates.
Ownership, not tickets
The people who design the architecture are the people who run it in production and answer the pager.
Documented and handed over
Repos, infrastructure-as-code, runbooks and architecture decision records are yours from the first commit.
Measured on outcomes
Conversion rate, page speed, order accuracy and uptime. Those are the numbers we report on.

Four people carry final responsibility for what we ship. On every engagement one of them is your named delivery lead.
Diego Alcántara — Managing Director
Fourteen years in commerce delivery, most of it running replatforms for retailers in North America and the DACH market. Owns commercial scope and is the escalation point on every contract.
Helena Brandt — Head of Engineering
Former platform lead on catalogs above a million SKUs. Sets engineering standards, reviews architecture decisions and owns the hiring bar.
Tomás Ferreira — Principal Architect
Designs the composable and event-driven systems behind our builds — service boundaries, API contracts, integration and failure modes.
Claire Duval — Head of QA Automation
Runs the automation practice: Playwright suites, contract tests and load testing. Signs off every release that goes to production.
