Frequently Asked Questions
The questions we get on almost every first call. If yours is not here, ask us directly.

Scope and delivery
What exactly do you deliver — just the front end, or the whole system?
The whole system: storefront, commerce back end, integrations, infrastructure and QA. One team, one point of accountability.
How long does a full build take?
A focused replatform runs 10 to 16 weeks. Large B2B systems with deep ERP integration run four to six months. You get a working staging environment inside the first three weeks either way.
Can you work with our existing in-house team?
Yes, and it is common. We can take a workstream, embed a pod alongside your developers, or provide architecture and QA automation while your team builds features.
Technology and ownership
Which technologies do you build on?
Next.js, React and TypeScript on the front end. Node.js, PHP 8 or .NET on the back end. commercetools, Medusa, Shopify or a custom commerce core, depending on your catalog and rules. See the technology page for detail.
Do we own the code?
Yes. Repositories, infrastructure-as-code and documentation are yours from the first commit. No licence lock-in, no proprietary black boxes.
Can you migrate us off Shopify, Magento or a legacy platform?
Yes. We have moved catalogs of more than a million SKUs with a full 301 map so rankings hold, including product, customer and order history.
Operations and risk
How do you handle traffic peaks like Black Friday?
We load-test against three times projected peak, run game days before the season, and put autoscaling, queueing and circuit breakers in front of checkout. We are on call through the peak window.
What happens if something breaks at 2am?
Supported clients get 24/7 monitoring and a 15-minute P1 response. The on-call engineer is someone who worked on your system, not a first-line desk reading a script.
How do you handle security and compliance?
PCI-DSS SAQ-A scope by keeping card data in the provider iframe, GDPR-by-design data handling, secrets in a managed KMS, and penetration testing before major releases.
Commercial
What does a project cost?
Fixed-scope builds start around €45,000, a dedicated pod from €18,500 per month, managed support from €2,900 per month. Full detail on the pricing page.
What happens after launch?
You move onto an SLA-backed support agreement with the same engineers who built the system. Nothing gets thrown over a wall.
